Aquest article suposa un punt d\u2019inflexi\u00f3 en la taxonomia dels nudibranquis, especialment els aeolidiacis, en q\u00fcestionar pr\u00e0ctiques recents de &#8220;lumping&#8221; (sinonimitzar i fusionar en exc\u00e9s) que, segons els autors, amagaven la veritable diversitat evolutiva.<\/p>\n<p>El treball destaca la import\u00e0ncia de recon\u00e8ixer la diversitat fina, reinstaurar l\u00ednies evolutives i descriure noves fam\u00edlies, g\u00e8neres i esp\u00e8cies, i redefineix l\u2019ordre <strong>Nudibranchia<\/strong>, eliminant el subordre <strong>Doridina<\/strong> i reinstaurant l\u2019ordre <strong>Doridida<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4>De qu\u00e8 tracta l\u2019article?<\/h4>\n<p>Els autors revisen com, en l\u2019estudi dels nudibranquis (uns mol\u00b7luscs marins molt vistosos, coneguts tamb\u00e9 com a &#8220;llimacs de mar&#8221;, i que manquen de closca externa), s\u2019ha aplicat una taxonomia que, segons ells, de vegades busca &#8220;optimitzar&#8221; -\u00e9s a dir, simplificar- a costa d\u2019ignorar difer\u00e8ncies reals. Aix\u00f2 porta al que els autors anomenen <strong>pseudo-optimitzaci\u00f3<\/strong> (lumping): &#8220;optimitzar&#8221; en termes taxon\u00f2mics, per\u00f2 perdent informaci\u00f3 real sobre diversitat. L\u2019article mostra que aquesta pr\u00e0ctica pot amagar &#8220;camins evolutius&#8221; importants, com l\u2019aparici\u00f3 d\u2019adaptacions morfol\u00f2giques diferents, difer\u00e8ncies ecol\u00f2giques, etc.<\/p>\n<h4>Per qu\u00e8 \u00e9s important aix\u00f2?<\/h4>\n<p>Aquestes reinterpretacions, constants \u00faltimament en el grup dels llimacs de mar, s\u00f3n necess\u00e0ries per entendre millor la biodiversitat real: si s\u2019ignoren les difer\u00e8ncies morfol\u00f2giques fines o s\u2019agrupen esp\u00e8cies err\u00f2niament, no s\u2019observa la riquesa completa de la vida, ni com s\u2019ha diversificat (evolucionat) realment un grup al llarg del temps.<\/p>\n<p>El m\u00e8tode d\u2019estudi que es proposa aqu\u00ed no nom\u00e9s t\u00e9 en compte els car\u00e0cters gen\u00e8tics i morfol\u00f2gics, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 considera que diferents l\u00ednies poden tenir distinta distribuci\u00f3 geogr\u00e0fica (amb les conseq\u00fcents adaptacions al medi, distinta vulnerabilitat a amenaces, etc.). Si no es t\u00e9 en compte el factor geogr\u00e0fic, podr\u00edem estar ignorant esp\u00e8cies que, de fet, s\u00f3n diferents.<\/p>\n<p>A m\u00e9s, aclarir les relacions entre esp\u00e8cies ajuda a estudiar com han aparegut les adaptacions, com s\u2019han diversificat els car\u00e0cters f\u00edsics (forma, color, etc.), i a entendre millor els processos d\u2019especiaci\u00f3 dins del que es coneix com a Biologia Evolutiva.<\/p>\n<p>Com \u00e9s habitual en la taxonomia moderna, els autors combinen dades moleculars (ADN, filog\u00e8nia) amb an\u00e0lisis morfol\u00f2giques detallades. Tot i aix\u00ed, reconeixen que el mostreig geogr\u00e0fic realitzat pot ser incomplet, de manera que podrien existir esp\u00e8cies no estudiades o caracter\u00edstiques morfol\u00f2giques poc analitzades.<\/p>\n<p>Canviar la taxonomia (reestructurar fam\u00edlies, g\u00e8neres) implica que moltes classificacions anteriors quedin obsoletes o necessitin revisi\u00f3, la qual cosa t\u00e9 moltes implicacions pr\u00e0ctiques (bibliografia, bases de dades, identificaci\u00f3 de camp).<\/p>\n<h4>Estudis clau citats<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Gosliner TM, Griffiths RJ.
