(2006: p.126) shows a specimen collected in Flamingo Bay, Virgin Islands (Bahamas) that shares the same number and distribution of lateral and mid-dorsal papillae. Also Goniodoridella picoensis<\/em> (Paz-Sedano, Ortigosa & Pola, 2017), described from specimens collected on Pico Island (A\u00e7ores, Portugal) with a white body background with yellow or light orange lamellae, rhinophores and gill tips, without the purplish-pink spot behind the gills of G. miramarae<\/em>, and with lateral papillae located on each side of the gill, not as large as those of G. miramarae<\/em> and never exceeding the length of the tail when the animal moves. G. picoensis<\/em> has lamellated rhinophores while G. miramarae<\/em> has 3 cup shaped lamellae basal to 5 tubercles on the apical part.
