{"id":235,"date":"2012-05-14T21:13:06","date_gmt":"2012-05-14T19:13:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/opistobranquis.info\/nudibranquis-nudibranchianudibranquios-nudibranchianudibranchs-nudibranchia"},"modified":"2025-10-29T16:01:05","modified_gmt":"2025-10-29T15:01:05","slug":"nudibranchia","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/opistobranquis.info\/es\/guia\/nudibranchia\/","title":{"rendered":"Nudibranchia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Los nudibranquios son un grupo de babosas marinas que incluye a los tradicionales nudibranquios cladohep\u00e1ticos (eolid\u00e1ceos, armin\u00e1ceos y dendronot\u00e1ceos), adem\u00e1s del enigm\u00e1tico grupo de los Doridoxidae, todos ellos caracterizados por presentar el ano en posici\u00f3n lateral derecha y una gl\u00e1ndula digestiva m\u00e1s o menos ramificada.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\" class=\"aligncenter\"><div id=\"featured-img-id\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/opistobranquis.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/hypselodoris-tricolor-29.jpg?w=900&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Felimare tricolor by Enric Madrenas\" \/><\/div><center><em>Felimare tricolor<\/em> por Enric Madrenas<\/center><\/span><p><\/p><\/h5>\n<p>La historia taxon\u00f3mica de los nudibranquios (Nudibranchia Cuvier, 1817) es un ejemplo paradigm\u00e1tico de c\u00f3mo la biolog\u00eda marina ha evolucionado desde un enfoque esencialmente morfol\u00f3gico hacia una s\u00edntesis filogen\u00e9tica que integra datos anat\u00f3micos, moleculares y ontogen\u00e9ticos. Los nudibranquios, tradicionalmente incluidos dentro de los &#8220;opistobranquios&#8221;, fueron considerados durante d\u00e9cadas un orden de este gran grupo de moluscos gaster\u00f3podos marinos caracterizados por la p\u00e9rdida de la concha en el estado adulto y por la presencia de branquias externas. Esta concepci\u00f3n cl\u00e1sica \u2014heredada de la zoolog\u00eda del siglo XIX\u2014 se mantuvo vigente hasta bien entrado el siglo XX, cuando los primeros an\u00e1lisis morfol\u00f3gicos sistem\u00e1ticos comenzaron a revelar la complejidad interna del grupo y la falta de monofilia de los &#8220;Opisthobranchia&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Los estudios de Heike W\u00e4gele (2000), basados en m\u00e1s de un centenar de caracteres anat\u00f3micos e histol\u00f3gicos, fueron decisivos para consolidar la monofilia de Nudibranchia y establecer una divisi\u00f3n primaria en dos grandes linajes: Anthobranchia y Cladobranchia, diferenciados por la morfolog\u00eda corporal y la disposici\u00f3n de las branquias. Esta estructura b\u00e1sica domin\u00f3 la sistem\u00e1tica del grupo durante casi dos d\u00e9cadas, hasta que la llegada de las t\u00e9cnicas moleculares transform\u00f3 radicalmente la manera de entender las relaciones internas de los heterobranquios.<\/p>\n<p>A partir de los primeros trabajos moleculares y transcript\u00f3micos del siglo XXI (como los de Karmeinski et al., 2021), se puso de manifiesto que muchas de las clasificaciones tradicionales eran artificiales o parafil\u00e9ticas. Grupos que hab\u00edan sido definidos por caracteres superficiales -como la forma del cuerpo o la estructura de los cerata- resultaron ser heterog\u00e9neos, mientras que otros linajes aparentemente dispersos mostraban una afinidad filogen\u00e9tica inesperada. En este contexto, la noci\u00f3n cl\u00e1sica de Nudibranchia como un conjunto de &#8220;opistobranquios sin concha&#8221; perdi\u00f3 sentido, y el foco se desplaz\u00f3 hacia una delimitaci\u00f3n filogen\u00e9ticamente coherente dentro del gran clado Heterobranchia.<\/p>\n<p>El trabajo de Korshunova <em>et al<\/em>. (2025) representa, en este sentido, un punto de inflexi\u00f3n fundamental. Los autores proponen una revisi\u00f3n profunda de la taxonom\u00eda de los nudibranquios basada en una combinaci\u00f3n de datos morfol\u00f3gicos detallados, observaciones ontogen\u00e9ticas y secuencias moleculares. Su estudio denuncia lo que denominan &#8220;pseudo-optimizaci\u00f3n taxon\u00f3mica&#8221;: una tendencia hist\u00f3rica a simplificar en exceso la clasificaci\u00f3n para ajustarla a modelos jer\u00e1rquicos r\u00edgidos, suprimiendo as\u00ed buena parte de la diversidad real del grupo.<\/p>\n<p>Korshunova <em>et al<\/em>. (2025) restringen de manera expl\u00edcita el alcance del orden Nudibranchia y reinstauran cinco sub\u00f3rdenes cl\u00e1sicos que hab\u00edan sido progresivamente fusionados o abandonados: Arminina, Tritonina, Dendronotina, Janolina y Aeolidina. Esta reestructuraci\u00f3n devuelve coherencia filogen\u00e9tica a la clasificaci\u00f3n y reconoce la independencia evolutiva de diversos linajes que antes se hab\u00edan agrupado bajo denominaciones artificiales como &#8220;Cladobranchia&#8221;. Especialmente significativa es la revisi\u00f3n del suborden Aeolidina, dentro del cual los autores identifican diez superfamilias claramente definidas y veintinueve familias, incluyendo dos de nueva descripci\u00f3n (Chudidae fam. nov. y Hantazuidae fam. nov.). Tambi\u00e9n se restablece la superfamilia Embletonioidea, cuya posici\u00f3n hab\u00eda sido objeto de debate persistente en la literatura molecular.<\/p>\n<p>Esta nueva clasificaci\u00f3n, aunque compleja, ofrece un marco evolutivo m\u00e1s realista y pone de manifiesto que la diversidad de los nudibranquios es mucho mayor de lo que se hab\u00eda supuesto. El enfoque integrador de Korshunova et al. (2025) sostiene que solo el an\u00e1lisis conjunto de morfolog\u00eda, gen\u00e9tica y desarrollo puede evitar distorsiones derivadas de la &#8220;optimizaci\u00f3n&#8221; taxon\u00f3mica y restituir as\u00ed la aut\u00e9ntica riqueza evolutiva del grupo. En definitiva, su trabajo redefine Nudibranchia no como un residuo de los antiguos &#8220;opistobranquios&#8221;, sino como un clado bien delimitado dentro de los Heterobranchia, en el que la evoluci\u00f3n de las formas corporales y de los sistemas defensivos qu\u00edmicos ha generado una diversidad que, como sugiere el t\u00edtulo del art\u00edculo, es realmente &#8220;inacabable y extraordinariamente diferenciada&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Los Nudibranchia, como grupo, no presentan una organizaci\u00f3n corporal homog\u00e9nea: los Aeolidioidea, Fionoidea, Flabellinoidea y Proctonotoidea tienen el cuerpo alargado y grupos de papilas llamados <em>cerata<\/em> a ambos lados del cuerpo. Los Arminoidea presentan un cuerpo de forma m\u00e1s o menos triangular y viven en fondos blandos. Los Dendronotoidea y Tritonioidea tienen el cuerpo alargado y prolongaciones dendr\u00edticas a los lados. Los Doridoxoidea muestran una morfolog\u00eda corporal semejante a la de los nudibranquios dor\u00eddidos, es decir, aplanada dorsoventralmente.<\/p>\n<p>La sinopsis sistem\u00e1tica de los Nudibranchia seg\u00fan Bouchet et al.
