[<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.marinespecies.org\/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=1572548\">1572548<\/a>]<\/p><\/div><p><strong>Nota taxon\u00f3mica<\/strong>: La clasificaci\u00f3n de los Flabellinidae hab\u00eda permanecido bastante estable hasta que en 2017 aparecieron una serie de trabajos (Furfaro et al. 2017; Korshunova et al. 2017) que pretend\u00edan aclarar el estatus de la familia Flabellinidae. El objetivo principal del trabajo de Furfaro et al. era caracterizar  molecularmente las especies mediterr\u00e1neas mientras que el trabajo de Korshunova et al. pretend\u00eda ahondar en las relaciones filogen\u00e9ticas entre diversos miembros de la familia Flabellinidae y las dem\u00e1s familias de los aeolid\u00e1ceos.<br>Ambos trabajos se basaban en la combinaci\u00f3n de t\u00e9cnicas moleculares y morfologicas y, de hecho, no ofrecen resultados muy distintos, pero s\u00ed difieren en el tama\u00f1o y procedencia de las muestras estudiadas y, sobre todo, en la interpretaci\u00f3n de dichos resultados. Tras la aparici\u00f3n del trabajo de Furfaro et al., muchas especies Mediterr\u00e1neas de los g\u00e9neros <i>Calmella<\/i>, <i>Flabellina<\/i> y <i>Piseinotecus<\/i> se agruparon bajo el g\u00e9nero com\u00fan <i>Flabellina<\/i>, pero tuvieron determinados problemas con algunas especies que no encajaban bien con la clasificaci\u00f3n propuesta (p.e. <i>Flabellina babai<\/i>), descubrieron que las poblaciones mediterr\u00e1nea y atl\u00e1ntica de <i>Flabellina ischitana<\/i> corresponden en realidad a dos especies cripticas diferentes, y constataron los problemas del grupo cr\u00edptico <i>Calmella cavolini <\/i>\/ <i>Flabellina confusa <\/i>\/ <i>Piseinotecus gaditanus<\/i>por lo que indicaron la necesidad de nuevos estudios para aclarar su estatus. <br>Curiosamente estos estudios se estaban llevando pr\u00e1cticamente en paralelo por el grupo de Korshunova et al. pero sobre una muestra de especies mucho m\u00e1s amplia y que comprend\u00eda ejemplares del \u00c1rtico, Atl\u00e1ntico norte, oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico e \u00cdndico. Este segundo trabajo confirma la polif\u00edlia de la familia Flabellinidae, pero su forma de interpretar los resultados representa una verdadera revoluci\u00f3n para la taxonom\u00eda de los aeolid\u00e1ceos, especialmente para la familia Flabellinidae.<br>Ambos trabajos observan que hay dos clados (grupos) bien diferenciados de Flabellinidae: el de <i>Coryphella pedata <\/i>y similares, con cerata que salen directamente del dorso, y el de <i>Flabellina affinis <\/i>y similares, que tienen los cerata de cada grupo pedunculados. Aunque Furfaro et al. consideran a las especies de ambos clados pertenecientes al g\u00e9nero <i>Flabellina<\/i> dentro de la familia Flabellinidae, Korshunova et al. diferencia dos familias: Coryphellidae y Flabellinidae sensu stricto, creando adem\u00e1s multitud de g\u00e9neros diferentes en estas familias para incluir a las especies que estudian. Su propuesta taxon\u00f3mica, curiosamente, da respuesta a los problemas hallados por Furfaro et al.<br>En cierta manera ambos trabajos se complementan, si bien en el trabajo de Korshunova et al. se evidencia la falta de estudios sobre las especies de flabellinidos tropicales y del sur de Am\u00e9rica y \u00c1frica, por lo que a\u00fan no se ha dicho la \u00faltima palabra. La propuesta de creaci\u00f3n de nuevos g\u00e9neros para reunir peque\u00f1os grupos de especies, en vez de g\u00e9neros multiespec\u00edficos, parece ser la tendencia en algunos de los trabajos filogen\u00e9ticos de los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os. Puede consultarse una discusi\u00f3n detallada de esta apasionante controversia en (<a href=\"https:\/\/opistobranquis.info\/es\/flabellinidae\/\">https:\/\/opistobranquis.info\/es\/flabellinidae\/<\/a>).<\/p><em>Fjordia chriskaugei<\/em> es una especie descrita recientemente en base a ejemplares recolectados en las costas de Noruega y de Irlanda del Norte y que pertenece a complejo de especies cr\u00edpticas observado alrededor de la especie <em>Flabellina lineata<\/em>. Korshunova et al. (2017) encuentran unas distancias gen\u00e9ticas del 6,1 % entre <em>F.lineata<\/em> y <em>F.chriskaugei<\/em>, suficiente en principio para considerarlas especies diferentes, pero muy cercanas. Ambas especies poseen l\u00edneas blancas en el dorso y paredes laterales del cuerpo pero <em>F.chriskaugei<\/em> adem\u00e1s tiene l\u00edneas bancas a veces discont\u00ednuas a lo largo de la superficie de los ceratas; la punta de los ceratas es blanca en <em>F.lineata<\/em> mientras que es semitransparente en <em>F.chriskaugei<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Descripci\u00f3n<br \/>\n<\/strong>Los ejemplares m\u00e1s grandes de esta especie pueden alcanzar 45 mm de longitud. El color del cuerpo es blanco y transl\u00facido, vi\u00e9ndose las principales v\u00edsceras de color rosado o crema por transparencia. Recorriendo la zona media de dorso y algo en zig-zag hay una fina l\u00ednea banca, tambi\u00e9n una l\u00ednea blanca en ambos lados del cuerpo por debajo de la inserci\u00f3n de los ceratas. La l\u00ednea medio dorsal y las laterales se unen en la cola. Palpos orales y rin\u00f3foros son del mismo color que el cuerpo, teniendo ambos una l\u00ednea blanca opaca que recorre su zona dorsal, uni\u00e9ndose la de ambos palpos en la cabeza y fusion\u00e1ndose con la del dorso a la altura de la base de los rin\u00f3foros. \u00c9stos son lisos. Hay 8-10 grupos de ceratas en los ejemplares m\u00e1s grandes, s\u00f3lo el primer grupo est\u00e1 claramente diferenciado de los dem\u00e1s. Cada grupo de ceratas sale de una zona del cuerpo algo expandida (margen notal), teniendo el primer grupo m\u00e1s de 20 ceratas cuyo tama\u00f1o va aumentando desde los m\u00e1s anteriores y laterales hasta los m\u00e1s posteriores y dorsales. El segundo grupo (postcard\u00edaco) tambi\u00e9n tiene numerosos ceratas, disminuyendo claramente el n\u00famero en los dem\u00e1s grupos. Los ceratas m\u00e1s desarrollados son largos, delgados y semitransparentes, mostrando dentro de la gl\u00e1ndula digestiva roja, marr\u00f3n rojiza, amarilla o naranja; hay muchos puntos blancos formando finas l\u00edneas punteadas a lo largo de la cerata, pero que nunca llegan al \u00e1pice de la cerata.\u00a0El \u00e1pice de los ceratas es semitransparente y dispone de un cnidosaco aparente. \u00a0El pie es relativamente estrecho y semitransparente y posee un par de palpos propodiales triangulares y bien desarrollados que tienen una l\u00ednea blanca opaca a lo largo de su cara superior.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Biolog\u00eda<br \/>\n<\/strong>Se trata de una especie que vive entre 20-40 m de profundidad, donde se encuentra su alimento, el hidrozoo atecado <em>Tubularia indivisa<\/em>, aunque posiblemente los juveniles se puedan alimentar de <em>Eudendrium<\/em> u otros hidrozoos atecados (Korshunova et al., 2017). La puesta es en forma de un cord\u00f3n estrecho dispuesto irregularmente con huevos blancos o ligeramente rosados.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Etimolog\u00eda<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Fjordia<\/em>, derivado del Noruego \u201cfjord\u201d porque la localidad tipo de\u00a0<em>Fjordia lineata<\/em>\u00a0es Oslofjord, y tambi\u00e9n es muy com\u00fan en Gulen, a la entrada del Sognefjord, de donde provienen muchos de los ejemplares estudiados en Korshunova et al. (2017).<\/li>\n<li><em>Chriskaugei<\/em>. En honor de Christian Skauge (Gulen Dive Resort y Scubapixel), quien se di\u00f3 cuenta primero de la heterogeneidad de la <em>F. lineata<\/em>\u00a0tradicional en observaciones de campo en Noruega.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Distribuci\u00f3n<br \/>\n<\/strong>Debido a la confusi\u00f3n que exist\u00eda en el pasado entre esta especie y <em>F. lineata<\/em>, la distribuci\u00f3n confirmada para<em> F.chriskaugei<\/em> est\u00e1 limitada hasta ahora a las costas del norte de Europa (Noruega, Irlanda y Gran Breta\u00f1a). Hay algunas observaciones en el \u00e1rea del Estrecho de Gibraltar (Manuel Mart\u00ednez Chac\u00f3n, com.pers.) atribuidas a <em>F. chriskaugei<\/em> que, de confirmarse, ampliar\u00edan en gran
