Su clasificaci\u00f3n filogen\u00e9tica a\u00fan no estaba resuelta en 2018, pero existen varios estudios en curso.<\/p>\n<p>El orden Architectonicida (equivalente a la Superfamilia Architectonicoidea <em>sensu lato<\/em>) comparten las caracter\u00edsticas mencionadas de ser caracoles bent\u00f3nicos con la concha en espiral muy aplanada, que suelen estar pigmentados de color marr\u00f3n y ornamentados. Disponen de un morro y un pie ancho y bifido, y un par de tent\u00e1culos anchos y alargados en la cabeza.
