En la regi\u00f3n anterior del dorso se encuentran los rin\u00f3foros, provistos de laminillas y que son retr\u00e1ctiles (dorid\u00e1ceos criptobranquios) o simplemente contr\u00e1ctiles (dorid\u00e1ceos fanerobranquios).<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\" class=\"aligncenter\"><div id=\"featured-img-id\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/opistobranquis.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/hypselodoris-picta-10.jpg?w=900&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Felimare picta\" \/><\/div><center><em>Felimare picta<\/em> por Enric Madrenas<\/center><\/span><p><\/p><\/h5>\n<p>Los dorid\u00e1ceos son carn\u00edvoros y se alimentan principalmente de esponjas y briozoos. Para alimentarse utilizan una r\u00e1dula que puede tener de varios a muchos dientes por cada hilera, aunque las especies de la familia Dendrodorididae carecen de r\u00e1dula y se alimentan succionando el alimento con su bulbo bucal de tipo suctor. Muchas especies de dorid\u00e1ceos tienen par\u00e1sitos externos del grupo de los Crust\u00e1ceos Cop\u00e9podos de la familia Splanchnotrophidae, que se mueven principalmente por la zona de las hojas branquiales. En los dorid\u00e1ceos es donde se dan los mecanismos de defensa m\u00e1s potentes dentro de los nudibranquios ya que muchas especies de varias familias presentan unas gl\u00e1ndulas en el manto llamadas \u201cformaciones d\u00e9rmicas del manto\u201d (MDF en las siglas inglesas, <b>M<\/b>antle <b>D<\/b>ermal <b>F<\/b>ormations) donde se acumulan diversos metabolitos secundarios que tienen un gran efecto antidepredante cuando son expulsados al exterior, lo cual ocurre cuando los animales son molestados. Estas potentes substancias defensivas han permitido que estos nudibranquios hayan adquirido a lo largo de la evoluci\u00f3n unas coloraciones muy vistosas que act\u00faan como sem\u00e1foros advertidores (coloraciones advertidoras o aposem\u00e1ticas) a sus posible depredadores.<\/p>\n<p><b>Clasificaci\u00f3n<\/b><\/p>\n<p>La taxonom\u00eda actualizada de los dorid\u00e1ceos propuesta por Bouchet et al.
