Nota taxonómica
Esta especie fue descrita por Ortea y Moro dentro del género Okenia. Sin embargo, la revisión de la família Gonodorididae llevada a cabo por Paz-Sedano et al. (2024) utilizando tanto análisis morfológicos como moleculares permitió comprobar que la riqueza de especies de este grupo a nivel mundial había sido gravemente subestimada. En el mismo estudio redescribieron esta especie como Bermudella mica en base a un detallado estudio anatómico interno que no se proporcionó en la descripción original.
Descripción
Los animales adultos no superan los 3 mm de longitud. De cuerpo limaciforme y estilizado, unas 6 veces más largo que ancho, con una estrecha cresta transparente que rodea el noto en la que hay cinco papilas de color blanco translúcido con manchas blancas opacas. La papila más pequeña, manchada de amarillo en la base, se sitúa delante de cada rinóforo; tres papilas más largas se disponen entre los rinóforos y la branquia, y la quinta, más larga, se sitúa tras la branquia. Dos grandes papilas aparecen en el dorso entre los rinóforos y la branquia, siendo mayor la situada sobre la prominencia cardiaca, delante de la branquia. Carece de velo frontal. La coloración dorsal del cuerpo es blanquecina, con manchas rojizas más o menos difuminadas que forman una gran mancha tras los rinóforos. Los laterales del cuerpo tienen manchas rojas y blancas, más abundantes hacia la cola. Rinóforos proporcionalmente grandes comparados con el tamaño del animal, con un mucrón de color blanco y 4-5 lamelas en la mitad distal, manchadas de rojo y de tamaño parecido. La mitad inferior de los rinóforos es lisa con manchas rojizas. La cabeza dispone de dos tentáculos orales cilíndricos con los extremos de color blanco. La branquia es pequeña, formada por tres hojas del mismo color que el cuerpo; la hoja central es bipinnada mientras que las laterales son unipinnadas. El manto dispone de una estructura de espículas relacionadas con las papilas dorsales, la branquia y la cresta paleal, mientras que los costados del cuerpo no tienen espículas, excepto debajo de los ojos.
Biología
La puesta es un cordón de 0,5 mm de diámetro plegado sobre sí mismo con huevos blancos de unas 80 μm de diámetro. Los huevos forman líneas transversales de 5-6 huevos, dispuestas en 2-3 capas en el interior del cordón. Los ejemplares utilizados para su descripción fueron recolectados de un cabo sumergido a unos 2 metros de profundidad, y entre los briozoos de una pared sumergida a unos 4 metros de profundidad.

- mica, del latín mica-ae, migaja, partícula, en referencia a su pequeño tamaño.
Distribución
Esta especie solo se ha citado en las islas Canarias, en Tenerife (ejemplares de la descripción original), Gran Canaria, Lanzarote. y Fuerteventura
