Oxynooidea
Los Oxynooidea forman una superfamilia de nudibranquios de tamaño pequeño y mediano, con concha externa, dentro del superorden Sacoglossa. Hay cuatro familias de especies con concha: Cylindrobullidae, Volvatellidae, Oxynoidae i Juliidae.
Los miembros de las Juliidae también se conocen como «gasterópodos bivalvos», ya que sus conchas constan de dos piezas o valvas independientes y articuladas. Estas valvas están unidas por un ligamento, y no tienen el aspecto de un caracol normal; en cambio, las valvas son casi iguales a las dos valvas articuladas de una almeja, que es un molusco bivalvo. En el pasado, los Juliidae sólo se conocían a partir de conchas fósiles, pero se clasificaban como un tipo de mejillón, con el que no están emparentados, sino que es un caso de evolución convergente.
