Biología

Etimología

  • Moebii. Dedicado al Prof. Karl August Möbius, (1825-1908), zoólogo marino alemán en Kiel. En el año 1863 inauguró el primer acuario marino alemán en Hamburgo. Acuñó la palabra «biocenosis».

Distribución
Especie invasora en el Mediterráneo, citada en Turquía (Turk et al. 2011).
