Etymology
- Discodoris. From Latin “discus”, disc + “Doris”, in Greek mythology, daughter of Oceanus and Tethys, who married Nereus and were the parents of the Nereids.
- Stellifera. From Latin “stella”, star, “stellatus”, starred, shaped like a star or “X”.
