Biology

Etymology

  • Geitodoris. From Greek “geitonos”, neighbor (meaning close or similar) + “Doris”, in Greek mythology, the wife of Nereus, a sea nymph and mother of the Nereids.
  • Bonosi. Initial letters of the names BOrja, NOel and SIlvia, the first two dedicated to the sons of Dr. Ortea and the last one to the daughter of Dr. Ballesteros.
